I used to think of myself as more an admirer of art & photography than an artist myself. I messed with image editors a bit and made a few abstracts. Eventually my husband bought me a digital camera. It wasn’t that great but it actually helped me to grow skill-wise. Trying to get better photos, I learned more about photography and Photoshop both. Last year I broke down and got a Canon PowerShot A1100. I wish I could’ve gotten a DLSR but I haven’t been disappointed with the PowerShot. I love the quality of the photos I got with it in 2009 and hope to put out better ones in 2010 as I continue to learn more about photography.
